Our Commitment to Changing the World Happens One Student at a Time

Since our founding in 2010, Lake Lure Classical Academy has empowered thousands of children to do big things through academic excellence, character development, kindness, and community betterment. As a tuition-free public charter school, government funding per student is significantly less than traditional public schools and we receive zero funding for capital improvements or meals for hungry students. 

The Raptor Fund is our general unrestricted fund that bridges the gap. It takes an outdoor learning center from planning to implementation. It creates places on our campus where children and teachers can foster experiential learning. It pays for unexpected roof repairs and helps feed students facing hunger.

It ensures we can provide counseling services. It staffs our classrooms with associate teachers. It funds educational programming that not only teaches students about chemistry and algebra but also how to be good citizens. 

The need for The Raptor Fund is real, perhaps now more than ever. Whether your financial contribution comes in the way of monetary support, donations to our student lunch pantry, or as presents for families in need over the holidays, all gifts of all sizes are meaningful and they do make a difference.
