Goal Statement

 
  • The goal of technology at LLCA is to support our mission statement - to offer a classical, knowledge-based education that fosters critical thinking, civic responsibilities, and virtue for all - by making our technology systems as reliable, efficient, effective, secure, accessible and relevant as possible.

Technology Forms  to be Completed Before School Starts - please complete as indicated below

Elementary Student Forms

Please click the link below to complete the required forms for each of your children in grades K - 5. You will need to complete this process separately for each child. This link includes the Consent for Digital Technology and Resource Use form required for all students, and the K - 5 Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) form, required for each K - 5 student.  Once completed the results will be submitted to the Technology Director via a Google form.  Please complete this information as soon as possible to avoid delays in gaining the necessary access.  Please allow at least one week for processing of requests
 

Middle School Student Forms

Please click the link below to complete the required forms for each of your children in the middle school grades. You will need to complete this process separately for each child. This link includes the Consent for Digital Technology and Resource Use form (required for all students), the Middle School Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) form (required for each middle school student), and links for information on the Securranty Insurance program and a link to the Securranty Parent Portal to purchase an insurance policy..  Each form must be completed and an insurance policy purchased before a student will be allowed to use a Chromebook.  Once completed the results will be submitted to the Technology Director via a Google form.

High School Student Forms

Special Note for High School Students only -
  • High School students have two options for technology use this year - a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option, or to make use of a school-issued Chromebook. The information below explains what information is required based on the choice you make for your student. Please complete these forms at least one week in advance of needing access to allow for setup and processing.
 

High School LLCA Chromebook Option

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

 
Students in 9th - 12th only will be allowed to bring their own device (BYOD).  Because of network security purposes each student requesting BYOD access will need to complete both the Acceptable Use Form (AUP) and the BYOD form.  Access to the network will not be granted until both forms are completed, submitted and approved.
 
Students caught using network services without these permissions being granted will be kicked off the network.

Chromebooks

Chromebook assignments for the 2025-2026 school year will be as follows:
 
  • Grades 9 - 12:
    • Chromebook at the high school level are allowed to be taken home. 
    • Each student is responsible for making sure his/her Chromebook is fully charged and operational for the full school day.  Chargers may not be available at school for charging student assigned Chromebooks.
    • May be assigned to individual students after completion of each of the following forms: 
 
  • If a 9th - 12th Grade student wishes to use their own device while at school, they must follow the procedures listed under the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) section above.
