About Us

Celebrating its 14th year, Lake Lure Classical Academy is a kindergarten through 12th-grade tuition-free public charter school that is open to all North Carolina students.  We offer free bus transportation, we have over 450 students attending from across four counties.

With the anticipation of the winter storm headed our way, and the possibility of hazardous driving conditions, school will be closed on Friday, January 10th for all students and all staff.
