On Thursday, March 19th, 18 of our high school students traveled to Western Carolina University to compete in a district math competition. They faced off against nearly 300 students representing 18 high schools across the region.
The competition was extremely challenging, with students given just one hour to complete the exam—without the use of calculators!
We are especially proud of sophomore Davis Young, who earned 5th place in his division for Math 2. Davis will advance to the state competition at the end of April.
